High Places, Awe and Misadventure in the Adirondack High Peaks written and illustrated by Adirondack Artist, Lynn Benevento

Unplanned overnights, thunderstorms, swarms of black flies, and acres of mud are all part of the Benevento’s journey through the forty-six Adirondack High Peaks, as are wondrous moments gazing at some of New York’s most scenic vistas. Lynn weaves the tale with the addition of paintings of her beloved mountains and excerpts of letters from members of her family and Grace Hudowalski, the first woman to climb them all.
